Finally took delivery of my 2012 Focus. Ordered 8/19, VIN 9/20, Window Sticker 9/30, Build Date 10/6, ETIS 10/10, Arrived dealership 10/22, Picked up 5:30pm 10/31. We had to wait on the correct remote start to arrive. Going to see if can put some miles on it today.

Way to go! Truely happy for you guys..keep having dreams about driving mine..ordered aug 3..built oct 7..as of yesterday..STILL at the plant..hasn't even left :(

That sucks. Waiting is really hard. But it was worth it. I am having fun driving the new Focus.

Built Oct.24 and ETA in North Texas is Nov.8 approx.
Supposedly our Focus is currently on a train in Arizona on it's way here!!!
Does that sound odd to anyone else? Seems like a long and indirect routing.

Found out why my Focus is staying at "released from plant" for so long. My guess is that my car is not being shipped until the mats that are part of the Winter Package I ordered can be sent with it. I ordered a Charcoal Black interior. Looks like it will be at least a couple more weeks until I see my car.

Certainly been a bad year for natural disasters having a wide impact on manufacturing. Too bad that a built car has to be held up for floor mats, but I can understand the logistical nightmare of shipping incomplete orders and trying to track who is owed what. Delay in a new car is nothing compared to people who lost houses/businesses in the flooding.

I feel you pain..mine has been built for almost a MONTH!! I'd rather them keep the damned winter mats and send my car without them! Lol..prolly looking at somewhere around another 5 weeks by the time the floor mats come in..and the transportation..grrr

I am also feeling the sting of waiting for my built Focus to ship. My Focus was built on 9/30. It is at least good to know why my car is not being shipped, but it would be nice to have some idea of when the car will be shipped.
