enter ur vin into the end of that site. It wont show a window sticker until somewhere around a week prior to your build date (your dealer can tell you this date or you can wait till the sticker shows on the page and the top right of the window sticker will show you your build date, just remove the"1" from in front of the number). Example - 120111007 would be 2011-Oct-07. Hope this helps!

I think this is what the person above was saying to look at. Your window sticker will tell you how your car will be transported. Mine says convoy. Other people around where I live said there's was delivered via semi and their sticker said convoy. Not sure about how to track it though :-/
Cant get the website to work, just brings back bad request. would really like to see my window sticker.

I don't know what's average, but for me it was two weeks between getting the VIN and then the window sticker.

about the same for me

Order: Aug 30
VIN: Sep 8
Window Sticker: Sep 24
Build: Sep 30
Delivery: next week, hopefully

Interestingly enough, one of my dealers extra locations has almost an identical car to mine sitting on the lot now! I'm gonna wait for my brand new one though, I've already waited this long...

@NorthernFocalPoint

The factory puts in 3 US gallons and charges you 15$ for this. Any fill ups are done by the dealer. My dad just bought a 2011 ranger and they only gave him a 25$ gas card which is hardly a half tank.

I'll keep an eye out for those other quality control issues.

I just saw another train go by my work. Actually spied some union pacific railcars on this one but it was headed east :P

Ahh thanks for the clarification on the fuel (although there is a $50 gas charge on my bill of sale - this may be an Ontario/dealer-specific thing like you said). I guess if I give them the benefit of the doubt, they may not have been able to fill it up depending when they bought the gas ($1.17L-$1.22L) but I still think they drove it around a bit (I would find it hard to resist driving that nicely optioned car with the nice arctic white leather interior! :) )

Here's to you being able to enjoy your car this long weekend!

Yeah the 3 Gal was on my VOC sheet. It's something ford charges cause they need gas to move the car around. Whatever is on your bill of sale could be a dealer added fee. It's a nice practice for them to "throw in" a tank of gas but is the 50$ on a 20 something + (almost 30k in some cases) really matter that much? I'd be happy just getting my car and filling it myself.

Oh no I totally agree that $50 out of the whole deal is nothing, what was irking me was that my factory order had 59km on it already and with the tank being at 3/4 Full, knowing that they left the tint to the morning I was coming in instead of setting it up 4 days earlier, it was looking more like they drove it around to another location that day then the one they told me they were getting it done at (5min. away based on the address they gave me) to get the tint done (they told me to wait a few days before opening the window which based on my last tint job means they did it that morning/afternoon).

That, the paint chips/nicks, missing NAV leaves a bad taste in my mouth for my first-ever factory order on what is otherwise a great car so far! (Granted this would have sucked way more if I had waited as long as they've been making you wait, so I hope you have none of the minor issues I did).
