Someone over on BlueOval forums who appears to work at Wayne in some capacity is saying that he (or she) is now hearing they are approaching a "parts shortage" on the transmission.

They have always been making Titaniums with MFT - it was just that Retail orders haven't been scheduled.

I haven't talked to my contact this week (this past weekend he said they hadn't fixed the problem yet). I really hope this is true!!

Here's an interesting site I found with info for tracking orders. It shows how to determine "birthday" by the numbers on the top of the vehicle window sticker.

Just made my 5th attempt to try to find out information on my order. If I don't get a response this time, I'm ditching the Focus and going with the Tiguan that I actually want more. This whole experience has been frustrating.

Different situation. If I'm already having trouble with customer service before even buying the car, will I really want to have to deal with bad customer service for the next 2-4 years I will own the car? It's not a good sign of things to come.
