This thread is about performance and i get it.

But i dont want performance. This is my gf car. 2005 ZX5 2.3L. I just want plugs that will last. I want to do it once then not worry again for at least 2 yrs.

Plats last longer than coppers. I will try the AP103s. Any issues?

And honestly, I use NGK in my car. so i really want to use these instead.

Thanks

Platinum or Iridium have the longest life when it comes to plugs. Whatever brand you prefer go with those.

Yeah i know...plats are good.

But the OP was against plats. I wanted to know why... and are there any ppl on the forum who have had an issues with Autolite plats.

I would get NGK plats for her car but nobody here is endorsing them. Why not?

I really like NGK. I was about to buy some for this car. I always thought Autolite was some crap store brand.

I installed Denso iridumum's in my foci at 50,000. Beats the oem's.

Denso is good too. They make a lot of OEM plugs.

It all comes down to better performance and changing more often with copper plugs.

Or not quite as good performance and changing out every 50k+ miles.

This is entirely what it comes down to.... I just read through all of the pages of this thread and this is the prognosis.

I installed the A103's in my car today. I have 37k on my focus and my mods are in my sig. I noticed much firmer powerful shifts as well as much more pep and power on take off and throughout the rpm range....
