F2 style kits

Well NFOCUS posted their email and quote. Their phone number is 562-789-4026 ask for Tony. As for their molds they are for urethane not cf or glass. Don't know if they would be compatible but I'm guessing not. You could buy an actual bumper from them to do a cf version maybe. Unless you guys want to try your hand at urethane. Maybe a co-venture?

I would suggest everyone let GP Werks know you r interested and about EDs interest if you want to see these made.

It's pretty obvious that those RS replica bumpers are hot pieces, but I think the sides kirts would be nice too, since the only side skirts available for the Focus without any weird vents or anything in them are SVT or Roush. Something that I would definitely snatch up is a front lip for the for F2 RS bumper.

Also, I have definitely noticed the issues with the current design that were mentioned by someone earlier, especially the fog lights and the extreme lowness of the bumper. It's going to be quite a project for me to get the fogs I have to fit nicely. As for how low it is, that's part of why I want a lip, because I'm fine with scratching that up rather than potentially getting a chip in the paint on the bumper. I'll probably just end up doing the DIY Home Depot front lip in the meantime.

One final note, thanks ED for being a company that cares about input and feedback from your customers. I greatly appreciate the fact that you seem to be listening to the people who are buying things from you.

A urethane mold is completely different than a cf/fiberglass mold. A cf/fg mold is hand laid while a urethane mold is injected. We've already looked into the molds from the former f2 and they are well out of our price range.

Please tell me some one has the kit thats in good condition and can give it to ED to make a new mold... PLEASE!!!!!!!

but its the only euro bumper that works with the gen 2 focus.. the rear will match up but the front we get the shaft. and i thing the gen2 looks better than the gen1 front. (headlights). so the only option there is for us is the RS kit from the old F2, unless some how the BIG GUY upstairs decides to grant us the luck of getting the kit to ED.

Well at least ED checked into buying the molds. I too am curious as to how much they were asking. I hope then GP Werks does come through and make it or that ED can get ahold of one and do a Cf/Dura version. I REALLY need a new front end to freshen things up. Again thanks ED for looking into it.

If u wanna go crazier, the Reiger front end.

The F2 RS bumpers in question were for regular and wide body, and it had the US turn signal moldings in the bumper. however the kits your also mentioned (ST170, Reiger) do not fit the 05+ focus. and from what i see thats who wants it more than the pre05, because you all can get the other body kits from Europe and fit.

the Back end would fit but only on the ZX3/5, and the Reiger kit was not a full bumper cover it was a bumperhalf, and you MUST have the back up lights or you will have huge holes in the rear. the lights and bulbs and harness are listed for 100 a light and you need 2 of them.

if you wanted to do the euro turn signals (the fenders) then you can still do that by getting them (listed for 20 to 55) and punch a hole in the fender and tada! i think the gen2 bumper signals look beter than the euro rounded ones. but thats just me.


IF ED can get the kit it was made for all years well not the 08-11, im sure they can now mod it and get that kit made for them. and seeing how the 2012 will come with a kit like this already stock (about darn time) there will be no worries. yummy the new ST..

i looked into them as well, they are looking for $30k
