Just as a heads up, HIDs in a non-HID housing is illegal as it can cause severe glare for oncoming traffic. Your best bet is to go get a set of retro-fit housings, and build a custom mount for them.

Thanks, I'm pretty sure they are actually projectors which is why the non HID's are so underwhelming. I can't find the link to the place where I actually found them but i will take pictures when I get home in a couple hours. If it helps, they have a spherical lens and in there is a small half circle shaped reflective piece inside. More or less I bought these things on ebay and there is no brand name written anywhere on them. It's entirely possible that they are just projector look-a-likes so I would certainly like to know. Thanks again!

Yeah, they are halogen projectors, the reflective surface on the inside will burn out with HIDs, check out http://www.theretrofitsource.com/, their stuff is awesome. I have the morimoto mini set in my headlights.
