hmm.. idk. I know the previous owner had an aem intake of some sort on it because of the aem clamp on the factory air box hose. i just put a k&n typhoon short ram on and it runs better then it ever ran before. starts up way nicer and smoother. maybe because if it had a tune accounting for an intake, that is why it runs so much better? really dont know maybe could be just the regular effect of an intake.
