I finally have my wheels and tires ... but I am a bit worried about rubbing.

The Rota Slipstreams ... 16"
And the Hankook RS3 - 225/50/16

I will be mounting these tomorrow at the shop ... do you guys think I will need like a 2mm spacer? Im worried to do that also ... but I have heard of someone with a SVT that has the 225/50/16 with rotas and is fine.

i think you should be fine. im running 215/45/17 on eibach pro and i dont scrape. you might need the little spacer as the tires will flex as your auto-x'ing

Yeah ... but the shop I got them from gave me 40+ offset ... I didn't realize how far in that was ... eeks.

what offset were you going for? 40 is definately better then a 45

how wide are the wheels?

The wheels are 7" Wide. These wheels have an offset of 40.

dont worry about it, both me and my friend have run 45 offset 16x7 with 225/50-16 hoosier A6 which run wider than these R-S3

You will most definitely have to pinch the fender a bit, especially with 40 offset.

Yeah I did my run yesterday and I didn't notice it rubbing during my run ... but the mounted camera caught a small amount. So, I might roll the inner metal of the fender just slightly ... it didn't rub much at all until I hit a real hard turn or U-turn on the coarse.

But I am definitely loving them ... wanted to thank everyone again for the recommendations.
