Anyone doing P90x?

I am on the first day of my second week today. Since I started it I have more energy and can do more things without loosing my breath. For anyone that does not know it is a 90 day program that you do a different routine everyday. So far I have not noticed any weight loss but it is only the start of week two. Hopefully the pounds will start to come off.

they certainly will if you stick to it.

I've been wanting to start it for awhile...... but with the way the college does their food/meal plans I can't afford to follow it. if I can get a cooking dorm then I'm sure I can.

Yeah I did it a couple weeks ago, but honestly only survived a couple of the DVD's. So I am starting to run this up coming week to get some more endurance to keep up with the program. I just need to start changing my eating habits more to see some better results.

The diet is the hard part for me. We have 4 kids so making 2 meals for every meal is out of the question, so I just adjust my portions and cut out all junk food. Nissan AJ I too have trouble with a couple ov the DVD's mainly the Plyo and Yoga right now. I just hit pause do what I can then continue on with the rest.

i did the whole 90days (well took a few times off and never did yoga) but overall i did it 5 times a week and i felt like i gained a little muscle. I am pretty skinny (5'8" 144#'s) when i started and now since i finished i have been going to the gym 3-4 times a week and am up to 152#'s so i think P90x was a great starter to get me motivated to hit the weights

My wife is using it and all my in-laws. It works because its a different routine most of the time. It keeps your muscles guessing and avoids a plateau. The diet plan is basically for people trying to lose a lot of weight.

i think workouts prior to breakfast shed more pounds than anything else.

Eat lots of broiled broccoli and asparagus interspersed w/ Designer Whey protein drinks. PGX is also a great way to curb your apetite.

I have not yet tried it, but I would sure like to. It seems like the only affective as-seen-on-tv workout plans.
