That's a T-splice and it sounds like it came loose so the wires aren't spliced together. If you're wire saavy you can use crimp splice and put them together, the t splice will work fine though.

Here are the connectors without any splicing. Disregard any labels, it's not my pic. Can you make yours smaller ? They hurt my head.

I wonder if the car had the brake light stuck on problem at one time. It's common in the early year cars. The braking runs through the hazard switch on the center bezel. The splicing appears to be the turn signal wires in your picture though.

Alright, so I took the connector off again, and now all the lights seem to be in working order. I'm pretty sure my car is possessed... Going to wrap the exposed wires with some electrical tape, and cross my fingers.

Well, this problem came back to haunt me. I still have no idea what to do, and going to a dealership would probably cost me an arm and a leg.
