After approx two weeks of back into the gym:

height 6'-0" (ok ok, 5'-11 1/2")

starting weight on work scale: 167
now: 173

Not bad for two weeks back in the gym and I have not taken creatine this week. It probably has something to do with the fact that I never worked on my legs this much before.....thank you Duffman.

^ Legs are the most important thing to work... Bigger legs means more blood flow throughout your entire body which means more blood for all your muscles :D

Have a diet full of meats. Creatine is high in red meat such as steak also its in chicken. If you really want to gain muscle or fat and you have a high metabolism I highly suggest taking Casein Protien. Its slow digesting, you can take it after workout or before bed and I have personally recommended it to friends that were also considered "skinny" and they have put on body mass since then. It is kind of expensive for name brands like optimum nutrition but im sure you can find some cheaper ones out there

For post workout you want whey, or a whey/casein blend, as you want fast digesting... Also for right when you wake up... Casein is def best before bed though... Or, just eat a lot of greek yogurt, cottage cheese, and/or milk, as well.

I just joined a smaller hardcore type gym today, and it is great. Dumbbells go up to 160, tons of free weights and only a choice few machines. They have satellite radio and play hard rock, heavy metal, hair metal etc. They have old school round metal weights too, none of those hexagonal rubberized weights. I actually saw a person curling using the bar of the flat bench and not the power cage (unlike Powerhouse where the douches curl in the rack). I like my new gym. Even though I dead lifted yesterday, I still had a great workout today. Must had been the change of scenery.

damn are you top heavy. I am the exact opposite. Comparatively good deadlift and a terrible bench. You are either one or the other it seems.
