Thank you Duffman for the replies. Great tips for working out....I focus more on squatting for the next couple of months and see if thats what I was missing. I have read the site about the 5x5 routine..I will give it a try starting today. I normally do 4 sets of 10.....damn.

Eating part...I hate eggs...maybe that is what I need to add into my diet.

It will take your body a little bit to adjust, but when you do, you will feel great and only poop once a day.
Is that an accurate measurement of health? I poop maybe 2-3 times a day....morning after coffe, lunch after my smoke break and after dinner before the kids go to bed and I smoke my nightly "cigs"....hmmmmm, I poop right after I eat really like an animal.....now that I think about it.....what does that mean?

It sucks that you hate eggs, cuz they really are a super food. Perhaps if you added milk, meat and cheese to them, and scrambled them, it may help? Most body builder types who eat tons of oats and brown rice and grains poop atleast that any times a day and can range from constipated to explosive shits. If you believe in the paleolithic thing, your body has all that strange food it doesn't know what to do with, hence resulting in waste product. A guy I know who switched to paloe, consumes 2-3 pounds of meat, 18-27 eggs a day and dairy and only poops one time.

I just told the world my poop schedule, lol...now people can synchronize poops with me, lol.

I will start eating eggs Duffman. My kids love em, just doesn't have a taste of any kind, its like eating air pudding. Maybe I'll start grabbing an egg McMuffin in the am's.

Thanks again Duffman, I won't post pics of my body or nothing metro-sexual like that...but I will let you know if the eggs and other tips make a difference. I'm going to give it a good month.

Well first you'll never be as big as someone thats "on".....it takes a non user almost a year to gain what a user does in a few weeks.... sure everyone want to be the big guy in the gym but usually thats an unrealistic goal.

I agree with the to be big you have to eat big.....BUT you need to eat healthy when you do it... and I'm glad you liked the link.

Yes, thank you orangesvt....the 5x5 method was a perfect fit for me. I did the gym yesterday evening....and....I added squats and dead lift to my routine, smh never liked those exercises before though....I am really sore today, lol.

I was only squatting 145 (+- the bar) and I did the 5x5 on that also....I do have a rebuilt knee (all my tendons are from a cadaver) and that leg needed a workout but I'm afraid to keep adding weight until I can reassure myself I won't rip anything in my knee.

Thanks again Duffman too.

I would definitly strengthen up that knee before going heavy.

Squats work almost the entire body at once and are probably the best single excercise you can do.

Would you recommend going completely free weights (without the squat machine with the safety hooks) or just keep using the machine until it gets stronger? Thank you.

For now I would use the machine just for safety.

I use free weights myself... but then again I dont have a replacement knee.
