I smoked forover 15 years.... Camel non filter

The way I quit was I started chewing instead of smoking.... which is better for you than smoking but not by alot.... then I just started cutting back on chewing. It took about 3 months but when i finally quit I felt sooooooo much better.....not to mention all the extra money i had.

Life-changing events are a good time to quit. I quit when my first child was born. That's been nearly 26 years ago.

I'm still struggling myself. Even though I only smoke at work, I couldn't deal with the a$$holes at my job if I even cut those two breaks out. It's almost like my little 3 minute vacation...

Any of you guys try Chantex? I'm trying to quit as well but have not gone to the Dr yet for the Chantex. My 2 uncles who have smoked since god knows when got the Chantex and quit within a month.

I smoke about 1-1 1/2 packs a day.

^^I have a certain level of depression that would make Chantix a bad idea. I don't like "medications" whose possible side effects include "suicidal thoughts or actions", so I haven't even considered it.

Last time I tried to quit, I got the patch, but I was working in pool construction at the time, so that lasted all of about a day, sweating the patch off and being literally surrounded by smokers, lol.

I'm considering the Commit lozenge. Anyone try it? Seems like it would solve both the nicotine part as well as the oral fixation. Thoughts or reviews?

honestly miller you got to JUST DO IT, Its all psychological, but then again you might not WANT to quit because you like it....well weigh it out is it worth your health ?? or dying over ??? if you still wanna smoke try an ELECTRONIC CIGARETTE, i would recommend FATTY from VAPOR TOKERS..... -MIKE
