This is when you need to adjust how you workout. There is a point where your weight loss transfers in to muscle growth. If you can measure you mass body fat you may see the results there or you need to adjust your work out. Your body may be use to what you're doing.

When you go to drop the LBS you will do great at frist then it will slow to a stop. When you hit that point you gotta hit the weight loss at a different angle.

Good luck and dont give up you can do it.

dude, start heavy weight lifting. Also, look into the Paleolithic diet. It is similar to Atkins, but fixes some Atkin's flaws such as allowing the use of shit oils such as soybean and what not. I also include dairy in my diet. I drink alot of whole milk and eat alot of cheese.I myself am on the way to the gym to deadlift, and have eaten nothing but fat and protein today.

John, I too have gotten down a BUNCH of weight I packed on over the last 5yrs. Have you done any research on a "Keto" diet? It is a diet that forces your body to switch from burning glucose as fuel to burning fats for fuel. scientific research is showing that the human body actually PREFERS to run on fat and is more efficient this way.

http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=36497

I have hit a wall at 37lbs lost......down from 235 7 months ago, I havent lost any new weight in 3 months. I am planning to switch to this diet at the beginning of next month to try to kcik my body into something different
