how much are you guys charging for the zetec's one's...the 1 thing everybody is prolly wanting to know...if its worth it, as in making better power then the svt header, but isnt an un-godly amount more expensive, you guys could make a killing on these sexy azz works of art

they would be great for a s/c setup. but unless the na build is ridiculous, wouldnt the svt work just fine, for most likely less money?

i am doubting that it will be better low end than the SVT, heck, even the JBA 4-1 dyno's better hp wayyy up top than the SVT, and it looks similar. am i a dyno tester? no, have i dyno'd JBA vrs zetec? yes, up top, the JBA made like 2 hp more than the SVT, IIRC, but the SVT produced like 8 more ft/lbs accross the band. i'd love to see some dyno shots! not being rude to ya, heck, for all i know, it could dyno at 10 whp more than the SVT! it would be awesome! just dyno the SVT side by side and see what you come up w/!

agreed. if you can get this header to put out more hp and torque than the SVT across the board then you have a winner. charge $500 for it and sell them pretty good. price them at under $400 and sell the shit out of them. that is of course if they do better than a SVT setup. otherwise it will just become another header on the market that isnt as good as the SVT

seems to be a pain for TS to get side by side comparisons to its products and STOCK SVT stuff.

like others, we are gonna need dyno charts

now hold on, i didnt mean that to come across as bashing top speed. if this turns out to not be up to expectations then all we can really say is good try. but without mounds of money and several months spent on product development it would be pretty hard to outperform the SVT header. if memory serves i believe ford dropped over 100 grand on research and development for the SVT header. with that kind of time and money spent developing something so good i hate to imagine what it would take to come up with something that would do better all across the board. and besides that, you very VERY rarely see such good fabrication skills like from top speed. as far as that goes they are very close to the top IMO.

but i would still like to see a side by side comparison of the SVT setup next to your new header, open header and with 3inch exhaust hooked up.

TS fab skills are fantastic and nor am i knocking them in any way.
just dont expect to see side by side comparisons to the SVT stuff.

thats all i said.

the header itself looks dead sexy. i assume the collector will be held in place by some kind of spring system?

and btw, there are dogbones in the background. Is TS fabing up rear mounts now?

This header is not cheap, If I was to sell it for $500 I would be losing money. A merge collector alone will set you back over $300

http://www.burnsstainless.com/mc4-188-16-304.aspx

That being said this header is not for everyone. Most applications the svt header is just fine. But for those trying to milk every last horsepower on a high horsepower n/a or supercharged build this is the one. This header is made to work with a full 3 inch exhaust and most people are not even running that on a turbo car.
