Ok I gotta ask... How much did you pay for the engine?

I'm joking.

What's the difference between an RS engine and the Zetec engine. I'm guessing beefed up internals and compression? Looks like a complete RS replica to me. Nice work

multiple things; lower compression 8.7:1, mahle pistons designed by cosworth, oil squirters, heat shield for valve cover, trick t-stat, etc. Will handle 350-400 bhp which should safely get me to my goal of 300 whp 300 ft/lb tq.

Topspeeds new mani but with the entire thing made from aluminum, no svt parts. remember this is a zetec not a duratec, I have no idea what made ford put duratec on the RS valve cover. (maybe a marketing ploy to make it sound more advanced over the standard zetec of the time)

I actually don't have that much room right now and its pretty cramped but it will change this spring when we put up a new shop.
