figure we could use a thread to talk about anything and everything to do with straitline performance, that does not need to stick to one specific thing. random questions, ideas, things that have happened or plan to happen and other random "chit-chat" we'll make this the random bs drag related chat. post pictures, dynos, timeslips or whatever.

you could come to NC this summer. i have a pretty neato project that im going to do whenever the temperature climbs above freezing. JRSC+nitrous+mlb's mystery power adder+my crazy ass=me breaking shit at the track... or in front of the house, whichever comes first.

there are alot of decent tracks around my area. the only 1/4's within range are fayetteville (fort bragg) and charlotte. but i spend most of my time at mooresville. its just 1/8 but the prep is good and there are always plenty of ricers out there just waiting to get greased.

what happened to that track there you said was like 10 minutes from you? Have you gone out there yet? i dont think orlando speed world opens till this comming friday. i believe cfrc is open now again though. need to finish my little project with the car and start 2011 with a "bang" and hopefully not the motor popping kinda bang lol.

not much of anything to see as far as pictures go. if you've seen one focus then you have seen them all and mine isnt really anything special other than the jerry rigging BS holding some parts together

and you should know better than asking about the mystery power adder! it wouldnt be a mystery if i told you now would it?! lets just say that 300whp will be a distinct possibility when everything is together at once. actually everything together at once will probably make more than that o.O

as far as what is done to my car its just your basic bolt on DD for the time being. mods on the car now are full bolt ons, STS, stage 2 clutch, fidanza 8.5lb flywheel, torsen LSD, SVT springs on koni shocks/struts, and all poly bushings. rolling on 18x7.5s with wings west side skirts. stuff laying around the house that's not on the car but going on whenever it warms up. roush front bumper, paint, JRSC with BBK, zex wet nitrous kit with all the trimmings , water/meth kit, ford racing P&P head with oversized valves, and MLB's mystery power adder after he finishes making it and is ready to test it out. im determined to be the first one to use it whenever he is ready to run with it. he has a thread all about it in the boost section that tells you everything about it and nothing about it at the same time if you want to try and figure out what it is.

i used to live 20min from a 1/4 mile strip so we went there fairly often. right now im really hating my ATX because i know if it was a MTX i would be almost 1 sec quicker. even thought i have beat a heavily modded neon, a bolt on Mazda6 and a built trans am (he blew his trans half way, but i still won :) lol) also whats a good 60ft in an ATX? i cant get better then a 2.4 but i do get alot of wheel spin because tires are crap (BFG traction T/A's)

spinning a auto? neutral dropping it? 2.4 seems to be rather average for people anyways. lol.
