SVT Timing Belt Mech Help Wanted; $$ paid

SVT group-

I have had my 04 5dr SVT since sept, and liked it very much. However, since I am pretty sure the TB hasn't been replaced, the 2k miles I have put on it have been a bit tentative. I have plenty of experience with the basics of car repair/restoration, and R/R of major components, however with the 'song and dance' of the SVT's cams, I thought this job better completed with an experienced eye.

Basically I am looking for a fellow FF lister with first hand experience replacing the timing belt, etc. who lives near the Central Valley of CA to come on over and direct/caution/loan specific tools to help get the timing belt replaced. I can purchase the specific tools if they aren't available for loan, but I have much, save the cam lock pin/tools, and the external torx.

Compesation will come in many forms. Beverages during repair, time/tool loan/gas to arrive in cash. Maybe even a plate of cookies if they are still around.

Anyhoo, I would like to get this repair done, not pay the way too much price of the stealership, and start really enjoying this car!

Thanks in advance,

Eric G

Too far for me. Of course I wouldn't want to do it anyway. There are lots of fellow FF members that live in CA. I would think there are several that live close to you that would be willing to do it for you.

Since you are looking for help in your immediate area ... I brought you to the Northern CA group to see who can help you out.

One thing I say you need is the Timing Tool ...
Here from CFM (but you can get else where also) - >

Hope someone in your area can help you out. Good luck.
