Chinese Made Cosworth Intake Manifold Knockoff on ebay?

Was browsing and saw this listed. only one so far but who knows how long itll be before these start popping up?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/FOCUS...item255f8e3b60

Yes I know the pics/info half way down are for a RB26, but the main pic and listing text are for a focus.

Just passing it along in case anyone wants a cheap IM to play with

INTAKE MANIFOLD FOR FORD FOCUS 2.3 2003-2005 (will fit 2006-2010 with modification)

-hardware included
-aluminum casting
-20% more flow compare to stock
-perfect upgrade for focus

Must have for tuners running high boost. We recommend this specially for mild/ wild engine modification. This intake manifold will improve mid to high RPM range power. We recommend proper ecu tuning after installation of this intake manifold. PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION ONLY

There was a big thread about this over on FJ. If you put the knock off next to a real Cossie you can see a huge difference in quality (expected though). IMO in would need alot of work to get it even come close to the Cossie. The only thing is is that if you are going to leave the PS alone on a newer style Foci, I would rather cut this one up than cut up a nice Cossie.

oh herroooooooooo intake manifold.

this is interesting

Must have for tuners running high boost. We recommend this specially for mild/ wild engine modification. This intake manifold will improve mid to high RPM range power. Few slight modifications are required for this intake manifold to fit properly.

Right I saw that thread. Could be nice for someone willing to put in the work to make it line up and fit right. Just havent seen one available for sale yet so we'll see who the first buyer is. I mightve thought about it if i didnt have a cossie waiting already.

Yeah that description looks like its for the RB26 intake mani pictured in that section (probably copy and pasted the auction format without updating that part). But it still holds true for the cossie lol. If anyones interested id contact the seller and ask a million questions.

So far I like the intake , I think with a little work it has a lot of potental and I dont think it would take a lot

I also want to play with one , If some one gets it I will do the port work for free and dyno it for free to see what it does and see what work it needs , Customer installs
