favorite military aircraft

I love the A-10 as the tank buster. Nothing says help is on the way like 7,000 rounds a minute with uranium tipped to give the inside of a tank a nice firestorm.

I have to say I almost like the SR-71 Blackbird more. No other jet has as great a missle defense like the Blackbird-just speed up. I still wish they kept it going for recon ( give it much needed modern avionics)

Just something about going 2,100+ mph. Now that's a quick way to put a smile on your face

Anyone know the name of the C-130's they retrofitted into flying gunships? I've seen them in air museums and they look badass. They have freaking howitzers on them!

i kind of like the tomahawk's (f-16) and the raptor's (f-22)

i actually work at the usaf's weapons school.. its where the best of the best come to get trained

I'm a big F-15 fan thing is awesome although the F-22 is superior.

If their the best of the best... why do they need training?
Always thought that was the stupidest saying the air force had...

but yeah, c130 has been around for a long time. remember 03 in iraq every damn one of them I flew in was with the high rollers... guess where they were outta...lol

took me awhile to find this thread. I too love the A10, and B1B, was initially a huge fan of the F-22, but not so much anymore, but how can you not love the f-18. We can all thank Top Gun for making the F-14 super badass as well
