My favorite is the UH-1 Huey helicopter. The aircraft with the MOST combat time is the UH-1. Great aircraft. We had a Huey that took 200 hits from a 51 calibur machine gun and kept flying. The amazing thing was all nine people who were on board walked off the aircraft without a scratch.

Oh lord.. Hard question for me to answer.
I love F-14s, theres just something manly about them, and the first supersonic flyby i saw was done by a F-14, and the impression lasts to this day. T-38, Its got really graceful lines, and its brother the F-5 is just as pretty. F-16, Absolutely beautiful aircraft, and the cockpit gives the pilot great visibility, where other aircraft hide you behind a cage of steel, the F-16 sticks you out inside a giant plastic bubble. Flying that thing must be one hell of an experience. F-4, Its just brute force, good looking, and its engine, the J-79 is absolutely incredible. Technology developed in the J79 is used in every turbine built since. F-22, Its just scary fast. That thing can change directions on a dime, and accelerate like a top fuel dragster. Its just... godlike. A-10, The sound this thing produces is incredible. Its like no other. |

^^Agreed, the A10 makes a sound similar to what I imagine the World coming to an abrupt end would sound like.
I'm surprised Nobody mentioned it, but My personal favorite is the SR-71 Blackbird. What an absolutely remarkable piece of engineering.  And although the thing never got fielded, I was always fascinated by the RAH 66 Comanche Stealth heli  As for rotary wings that actually exist, I'll pick the AH 1W Super Cobra

Helicopter wise,if you really want to put the fear of God(or Allah)into someone,nothing says "Don't f@#$ with me" like a AH-64D Apache Longbow.
