Buy SVTF with HIDs
Sell ZX3
Problem solved

I love the MACH HIDs...you just can't beat 'em. I couldn't imagine how much you would invest with a harness + the MACHs would be.

Well, if Scott decides to sell his 5-door in Spring, I maaaay try and pick it up.

But we'll see. By then, the ZX3 will have all new timing belt+pulleys, serpentine belt, end links, dampers, a system..she'll be ready to go for another 100k miles. I don't know if I'll want to sell her anymore after that. LOL.

MY family has bad luck with cars. And now that I have a good DD, I feel like I'll sell it, then run into bad luck. Even though I know Scott takes excellent care of his cars. That's just something that would be my luck. And I'd cry.

I hear ya. It might pay to keep it after all the money you dump into it. Used cars can be such a gamble. Scott's svt is nice. I've even had the chance to drive it. Give it a good clean up and it'll look sharp. I think it even has some winter tires on it.

Vaboom, you sold the blue SVT man? That's good, I was beginning to wonder how long it would take to sell.

I had kind of a stupid effing day. I'm in an auto technician training program and brought my car in to wash it this afternoon. The garage has a power sprayer and I actually sprayed some of the clearcoat finish off my EAP rims, there are places where it flaked/chipped off. Didn't realize the thing had that much pressure, and I didn't even get that close to the wheels. It's not terrible but it's noticeable. On the upside I've got greater incentive to strip the wheels and have them painted some shade of black.

Yea, finally got it sold. It went to a good home. The gentleman who purchased it seemed like a great guy and it'll be in good hands.

Pressure washers can do some damage. I'm a diesel tech for a living and that 200+ degree hot water can cut through some gunk. I gotta go on the search for some winter wheels and tires now.

haha...must've had a pretty aggressive tip on the wand to do damage like that to a wheel.

I have a set of stock 16's that I may be willing to part with for the right price. Let me know bud.

I hear that.

I should just save up until I have enough to just buy another car. There's nothing wrong with having 2 cars. If only I had the room for it. And I still want my Police Interceptor..

One day..I will own an SVTF, a PI Pkg., an SVT Raptor, a black 3-series BMW wagon (slammed), and about 10 other cars.

I'm going to need a big garage. LOL.
