how? drag tracks are realtively smooth. andif your rubbing badly turn the height up a little bit. no one will call you weak for being sensible about something. well... maybe scott, or ryan.

The only thing smooth at Great Lakes Dragaway is the main track itself. There is a nasty bump after the finsh line and the pits are mostly gravel.

You didn't want the one in GB anyway, I owned that car before him, and it was nothing but problems. He was selling it because of all the issues he was having with it, I just worked on it for him a couple weeks ago.

I have an 03 SVT 5 dr for sale right now, has HID's but no EAP. The only problem is that it may already be spoken for.

Nah, I wouldn't. I try my hardest not to break things.. I would never give anyone shit for trying to keep their car in one piece..

I am a tech also, and I finally gave up on that car. I specialize in Focuses, and have an entire salvage yard full of Focuses at my disposal, day or night, but that one just wasn't worth saving anymore. The owner before me beat the hell out of that car. When I purchased it, the guy had put a new clutch in it, and only used ONE bolt in the bellhousing to hold the trans to the motor, and one bolt for the starter. It stripped the splines right out of the clutch disk, and his buddy told him the trans blew up. The Recaro seats in that one are also shot, I could tell they were never cared for and one was ripped, and the back seat someone dumped red and blue paint all over. Everything else on the car was rigged in one way or another.

I prayed I would never see that car again, but the guy brought it to the shop I work for, and had me work on it.
