So I need opinions.. ST170's or Mach's? I like the look of ST170's more than Mach's.. plus I can get black housing ST170's, but not black housing Mach's unless someone took them apart to do it, and I don't trust the seal to be good enough.

What is the comparison in light throw? I was told ST170's are alllmost as good as Mach's when aimed properly. What do you guys think?

machs will out throw st170's any day of the week. hid projectors versus reflecter halogens. however machs need ballasts and igniters and that gets pricey.

both will need the vw plugs wired into your stuff (scott helped me with mine)
st170's are probably the way you would want to go. easier to replace bulbs if they are all halogens.

Yeaaah, I suppose.. Damn. I wish one of you had ST170's and one of you had HID's so I could visibly see the difference. Since I've never ridden or driven in a car with either.

But I think I'm going to try the ST170's if I can find a set for the right price. I just like them better. I wish they made black Machs..

Yeah, he does. What about tires and your exhaust? Lol, only saying that because you said you had those things to get done before you bought a bumper.

went to go get that focus...wow...was flat out lied to about condition of the car. they told me body was in great condition, there was no body panel on that car that wasnt severly dented or cracked and scratched! it was awful. PLUS...they said, "oh we lost the title i guess." yeah no. not even touchin that POS for $300. i maybe would have gave them $20 for it and thats only if they hauled it over to me! i HATE it when people try to rip you off! like really!?!?! i was gonna see the car eventually. why would you lie to me about its condition? people are just so stupid!
