Well i am in the market for a carbon fiber hood and this one i would love to have. I would hold off purchasing another style if we can get a answer if this hood will be made? And as stated before i don't want to fork over a mortgage payment to get it. If it can be sold for 350 for fiber glass and 500 ish for carbon fiber plus shipping of course you definitively have a buyer. Please keep us posted my interest has been peaked now. Please tell me like 6 months you will have this hood!

We are definitely interested in making this hood. It all comes down to what else we have going at the moment. The more support it gets here, the better the chances are that it will get moved up the ladder.

For the right price I would be in for one of these hoods. I love the Rally car style flush placement of the functional air scoop. Do it!

just wanted to throw this idea at you. put some sort of flap that you can open and close in that little vent/scoop that will keep water out when its raining. hell you could just make it a little slider that goes underneath and locks into place with a wee little handle on it. ive never seen an aftermarket hood with holes in it have that option and thats the only thing that keeps me from buying them. cold rain water on a super hot header never ends well and neither does water in the intake. just a suggestion. and its not like it would be ungodly expensive to add onto the hood. you could even make a provision for this part in ALL the hoods and sell the flap separately for like $50-$100 and then its the customer's responsibility to install it. just an idea.

also to you guys going on about wanting this for the 05-07. this wont be happening more than likely. think about it. the hood would have to be molded differently for the different front end and then the hood scoop wouldnt be functional. so it would only be for looks. and honestly unless you are using this hood purely for function then you wont have it because it looks horrifying. would i use it? your damn skippy but i would need something to keep water out on rainy days.
