nice results. The ST has suede on the doors already but ive been thinking about wrapping the dash in suede with stitching around some parts, like the air bag and air vents. Sounds like a lot of work :X

If you know what you're doing it wouldn't be too much work. I know redoing mine would take a lot less time the second go.

I was planning on that but broke one in the front and slayed one in the back so I had to remake them with that paper. If you can its a lot easier to take a lot of time getting them off in one piece instead of what I did.

Did you use the fabric glue on the "face" side of the insert or just on the back to hold it down? Also how much fabric do you think you need to do this?

Thanks.

None on the face side, I didn't use anything on the face side to hold the suede down, but I think a small amout of spray adhesive would have been smart to prevent wrinkles, long as you test it first to make sure it doesn't bleed through or cause discolouration. I used ended up buying way more than I needed and it was still only $8. I can't really remember but just lay all the inserts out on a sheet and leave like 6 " between each piece and the edge of the sheet to figure out how much square footage you need.

Got another question.

Got all my inserts off and started to wrap one today. I almost have it all pinned down, once its completely pinned down how exactly do I go about gluing? I got some spray fabric adhesive glue stuff lol.

Do I pull one tack out at a time and glue a little section or what?
