Impressive! I was kicking around the idea of throwing drag radials on my stock ST wheels once my project is complete.

Thanks, gives me a goal for next year.
There's a solid 3mph difference in our cars, so I have some tweaking to do...

Eventually yes. I'm hoping to be dropping in a built 2.3 over next winter. In the meantime, I want to get a LSD and some more suspension upgrades.

Congrats! Thats a huge time for a very stock FWD car that's this cheap. An LSD should help you hook a decent amount better as well.

Sheesh with a built 2.3 and Torsen/Quaife I smell low 12's or high 11's!

My goal with a built 2.3 is to be competetive in the 11.5 index.

I ran a new PB of 12.93 @ 105mph with a 1.93 60ft on Sunday at Import vs Domestic World Cup Finals. I got eliminated in second round eliminations by a Cobalt SS T/C.

Cobalt: 13.85/13.80
Focus: 13.04/12.90

I hooked good off the line with a 1.91 60ft but then bogged 2nd gear.

The first round of eliminations I ran a 13.10 @ 105mph letting off about 200ft short. I was racing a '99 Cobra who had a horrible reaction time and I ended up with a .093 R/T with a 1.79 60ft!!! The car hooked hard from 4500rpm two step and got outta there! I let off to secure the win to advance to the next round. If I had stayed in it, I think I could have definitely seen a 12.7 pass but unfortunately, I would've broke out also. Now I'm kinda wishing I had just stayed in it to see that pass. lol

Awesome update. A 12.7 would have been fun, but it wouldn't have made sense to willingly get eliminated.

Oh well, the 12.7 will be easy if you do the upgrades you are talking about.
