Ya I had to trim mine too and also moved the top of my radiator forward almost 3 inches.

It was touching before (cuz the turbo manifold was big). But now I don't have AC in the car, so i can move it up a few inches no problem with some brackets!

I'll just use those. Saved me $200-350 which I can use to have the new engine assembled and tranny rebuilt at the end of summer/start of fall.

What is the CFM of the stock fans?
The best FAL ones I saw were like 1300 CFM per fan, ~2200 for double 12-14" fans.
They had some 22" fans that have like 3000-4000 CFM, but this isn't an excursion lol.

I'm sending mine to HMS (Terry Haines) and he's doing it all for me.

I'm going to have new shift forks installed, rebuild, new seals, etc, paint the tranny, and install it with the dress-up bolts so it looks all spiffy and shit.

Decided I am not going to do the Keyed tower like he recommends because this tranny doesn't really need it.

I saw some big fans at the yard from V6 Taurus' but I didn't get to grab them.
I'm gonna wait and see what I can do with the stockers before I go onto yet another "project" amidst 10 already existing car projects.

* Side note, I can't find the vacuum line fittings I got from TS for the manifold. I'm gonna check both boxes again tomorrow and hope that they are there! If not, I gotta have them send me some...boo
