Got some brake components back today but still have to do the rear calipers. They were very expensive to do, about $210 for the 4 SVT brackets and the two front SVT calipers.

Here is the finished result:

Great build thread man. Its always good to see someone building a car the right way.

I followed your rebuild thread from two years ago, is this just an extension of that or what?

Thanks a lot! Yes it's basically a follow up of that. I sold off and am in the process of selling all of my NA parts and going full FI.

In the process, building a second engine with forged internals to handle big power as well. I'll be doing that this winter while I can't work on the car much.

FI is really the way to go with a zetec for power and I realized that late haha. Live and learn. It was pretty quick with all my NA parts but I want to keep up with FI cars and high-er end cars that have double and triple the power of a focus.

I have all these projects in my head I have/want to start and it sucks not having a garage :(

Stay tuned for more to come!

Power steering line assembly + cooler system:

1) Stock line (For solid end fitting going into the power steering rack. Required to be cut and removal of stock cooler).

2) -6 an High pressure line (6ft $27 @ Aeroquip) or (10ft $39 SS line @ Summit).

3) (1) 45* (or 90*) -6an swivel fitting ($17 @ Summit or AN Plumbing).

4) (1) Power Steering Adapter, -6 AN Male to 16mm x 1.50 Inverted Flare ($11 @ Summit).

5) (1) Earl's (165006) Hard Line Tubing Adapter, Male -6 AN to 3/8" ($9 @ ANPlumbing.com).

6) (2 or 4) -6 an female hose ends ($5 ea @ Summit) (depending on what fittings your cooler has will determine which two to run from the pump line > cooler and cooler > rack).

7) Cooler of your choice. -6 fittings or whatever size with an adapter (Price varies). Go to eBay and search "NASCAR Oil Cooler" and you will find like new, brand name, great flowing parts at amazing prices.

This is one of the best ways to go about it. (Hope i didn't miss anything. I also added an in-line sensor T fitting for relocation. I will know next week if this is needed or not).

I just had Dominic make me a custom adapter to go onto the t-stat housing. I will be converting everything to -an lines and getting an aluminum radiator and have some fab work done on it to make it work and also to squeeze the stock fans up closer and away from the turbo.

lemme know what y'all think!
