Plug Wires + Spark Plugs
I'm looking to replace my plug wires and I would like the best one... Which one is the best one for a 2001 Ford Focus ZX3 Manual? What about the Spark Plugs? I was planning to buy a Steeda 8MM Plug Wires and Bosh Platinum+4 Spark Plugs...

autolite or motorcraft double platinums are pretty popular, i personally went with motorcraft platinums, they work pretty good...i'd stay away from ngk or slitfire tho, i tend to categorize those brands for imports...i'd personally only go with motorcraft (hey ford parts fora ford car how bad can it be :P) you cant go wrong with motorcraft or autolites tho

I had Autlines on my last Focus (a 2000 Ford Focus ZX3) with Focus Sport plug wires and both worked very very good.

What about the Steeda? I thought they had the best Plug Wires... And the best Spark Plugs would be between the Bosch's Platinum+4 and the NGK Double Platinum... Am I wrong?

I was told my a mechanic that the motorcrafts are just rebadged autolites.. don't know if it's true or not... anyone know?

steedas are fine, as are focussport and ford racing. i personally have the ford racing ones but i havent heard any bad things about the steedas

i have the steeda ones and i honestly cant tell any difference from stock ones....cept maybe a little smoother idle...
that was my first 'official' mod to my car, and it was mainly for the show (they are blue as is everything im updating in my engine) |
