Cincy SCCA Region ST Champion!!!
I got first place for the year! So glad that I raced my heart out yesterday. I'll post up my best run from yesterday. The reaction from seeing my run time is priceless!

Thanks WD40 for the move.
My main competition for the year was a 95 Dodge Neon ACR and an AE86 Corolla. I beat the Neon by 3.3 points and the Corolla by 16 points for the year. Here is the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bEAynlZQ7yc Forgot how to post a video...

wow man congrats. great run to!! i have done this once but i have to drive close to three hours to get there. so i don't do it often but it is outragous fun.

Cincy SCCA Region
Hey, I am new to the area and I am hoping to do a few autocrosses with the Cincy SCCA Region. I can't make the Autocrosses in my area, Lexington, KY because they are on Sundays, but I noticed that last year many of your autocrosses are on Saturdays. Do you have a 2011 schedule available. Are they going to keep doing the autocross on Saturdays this year?
I used to autocross (we called it Solo 1) when I lived in Indiana, New Jersey, Delaware, and Puerto Rico. I want to get back in it this year. I got into motorcycles and haven't done an autocross in 7 years. Now I am done with motorcycles and want to get back into autocross and do some PDX/HPDE. What class do you think my Focus Wagon would fall into? It has Suspension techniques springs and shocks, eibach rear sway bar, focus sport header & exhaust, stress bar, focus sport intake, 16"factory rims with street tires. I will also be upgrading my brakes (crossdrilled discs), lose some weight (the car not me), and maybe run 15" wheels instead of the 16"s. Back in my solo 1 days that stuff would bump you into the IT class. It sucked because you would be going against full on race cars. Anyway, hope to see you up there this season. |
