Beaches in Texas
So like I said on another thread I'm planning on popping the question to my girl
This weekend. I kinda planted the idea in her head that the beach was her idea. But we don't know where to go. Ideas? I'm not driving to south padre so that is out. What else is a good spot?

Galveston, Port A/Mustang Island, and South Padre are really the only beaches I can think of. Lots of lakes within a shorter drive if you want to be on the water. The poor mans option would be camping by the lake and a sunrise proposal.

Kemah boardwalk is a good place. That's where my brother in law proposed to my sister but on a ride lol. That's really the only nice place to do something like that except for it being cold and by the water. Congrats though

Inks Lake SP. Might not be a beach in the sense that she wants but the overlook at Devil's Water Hole is great.
I can see a nice morning walk.

There's Matagorda TX beach.
A bit far but definitely a beach that hasn't been tampered with by tourists. -Ray-
