did mine the other day at 160k Km (100k miles-ish) and the water pump bearing was starting to get rough. glad I got a $20 gates replacement lol

changed mine at 108,00 the ford dealer said it was not really needing to be replaced but i had it done anyways.hard to beleive it was still in good shape and barely stretched at 108,000

cam belt change

mine was changed at bout 57000. its on 76000 now

LOL^ of course at some point or another you got to change it or it will break, and in the case of these SVT's, it will bend a valve, since it's interference motor.

You didn't know this? And you plan on doing a motor swap?

I knew this. Twas a funny. Not really a motor swap. Just pulling the motor out to do a mild NA build.

So question my SVT is an 03 and it only has 47k on it. Should i be looking at changing the timing belt off how old it is not how many miles it has on it. Its what around 8 years now. Just a thought i had today
