That sounds like exactly what audi has been doing for years... Too bad we didn't get the revo knuckle system.

Posted via FF Mobile Ugh....AWD DOESNT MEAN IT HANDLES BETTER AND A WRX DOES NOT HANDLE BETTER THEN THE COMPETITION. There are seriously way too many dead horses laying around in here. And not every enthusiasts doesnt want options, thats why there are hot hatches. Ps the wrxs interior is crap compared to what you pay. And enthusiasts dont care about heated seats or anything like that? Oh really...tell that to all the german auto enthusiasts who buy bmws and audis and mercs. Not every enthusiast dreams of a bare bones sports car because not everyone can afford such things like have two cars. The majority of people do not.

And can we stop arguing about the ST when its not even out, theres no price yet and itbhasnt even been tested by anyone. For all we know God threw out his STi and has a focus ST right now.

My point exactly.... who gives two $hits about a $30k car with a cheap plastic interior and blue carpet?

If you are going to use these BS options to justify why the Focus should be thousands more than a more powerful and better handling AWD car thats fine, most people looking to buy this car wont agree and look elsewhere.

Tell you what. Go to an unbiased forum for performance vehicles and take a poll. Ask if they would rather have a WRX, a Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart, an MS3, a GTI or a Focus ST priced thousands above all of those models and see how many people pick the Focus. You would be lucky to get 15% of the vote. Then try to sell them on the Focus just because it will have heated seats, rain sensing wipers and my sync and wait for the laughter.
I am one of those people that wants a performance car AND good features. Less options in the GTI vs the ST is one of the main reasons I am waiting for the ST. I want a car that is fun to drive, has good handling, and is quick, but also does not sacrifice features that are available in a cheaper model of Focus. I am not in a position to own more than one car, so I don't see why I can't get decent features AND performance in my one car.

If I am paying more than the cost of the Focus Titanium I expect at least a similar features level.

You do not speak for everyone, and neither do I. That is just my opinion/situation.

Will the ST be a 2013 model released in 2012 or will it be a 2012 model released in 2011? Some of the articles I have read on the ST say in will be a 2013 model released in 2012.

I'm just curious because I would like to upgrade my ZX5 with the turbocharged ST (since we are not worthy of an RS model) and wondering if I will have to wait another year.

I think it's supposed to be released in the fall of next year. So somewhere around October 2011.

Not sure where I read that though.

Posted via FF Mobile Liquid, youll probably be waiting a year at least. But I think its good. Enjoy the focus you have while you can and suck as much money out of it as possible. The longer you keep it the longer itll pay you back. A year will be over before you know it. And besides this will also give you time to save money. Pay it mostly off right away insteae of taking out a huge loan and being a slave to the banks.
