No sunroof for me. They add weight, lower the roof-line, and can have a tendency to leak. Not worth the hassle and I live in a warm climate. Also, after some more thought, I called the fleet manager who placed the order and had him change it to the ST3 package. I'm getting a little too old for the boy-racer seats and would probably regret not getting HIDs.

Edit: lol I changed my mind again and went back to the ST2 package...I want better grip in the seats for the occasional track day

I also wonder what winter tire options there will be. It does snow here in the capital of the great white north.

Hopefully 16" or 17" will fit over the brakes. Just hop on Tire Rack and order some cheap wheels with winter tires.

I've driven two SVT's over 200k miles between the two both with sunroofs and I've never had a leak, my CSVT had a sunroof, and my '93 Probe GT had one. Not a single "leak" problem. I think you're living in the past, a well engineered sunroof in a modern car doesn't seem to leak. Extra weight? Maybe 50 pounds, but I doubt even that much. As for lowering the interior head room, that is certainly true. I'm 5'8" so it doesn't much matter for me. If I was taller it could be a factor.

I drive my car 95% for (fun) commuting, and maybe a few fun track days - so I'll take the sunroof and enjoy days like today (70 and sunny!) several times per year over saving the very small amount of weight.

If you don't like the "boy racer" two tone seats, the ST2 package comes with the all black Recaro half leather seats standard, you don't have to opt for the two tone. I wish they gave the option to have the half leather seats on the ST3 - that's the only thing I'd like to have that the ST3 won't give me. I do like full leather seats, but over time they tend to look more worn than other seats. My Evo has half and half Recaros, and I LOVE Them.
