Gonna need every trick in the book and then some....

Ok guys so I think I am pretty much screwed this year when i race against my friends. These are the cars I am going to race and most likely lose to :
1995 Lincoln Town Car 4.6 v8 -Stock
1989 Dodge Ram 1500 with a Turbo Cummins
90's Dodge Neon Sport - stock atx
1989 Firebird with a 305
1995 Honda prelude with a H22A
90's Civic coupe with a B18c1

What I am trying to figure out is what tricks I can do to decrease my 1/4 Times as much as possible.

Things I can think of are:

14" wheels for faster acceleration
No Spare or backseat

Ive only ran my car 2 times down the quarter with a 17.6 and 17.59 each run with my car fully loaded and stock with a tune .

What can I do ? no not FI or N20

you should still beat the neon... You might be able to get one or two others from a dig but not for long lol.

Gutting the car out does help it noticeably, but then you're a gutted out car vs mostly stock cars.

Did you read his screen name? 02 Zetec SE. No fail boat in that car. And by the way my SPI with a 5 speed ran faster than his posted times

First off is this bracket racing or heads up? If your running bracket you'll win all day long.

The biggest and easiest thing to do is put the car on a diet.
