you dont live in new england.. no need for traction control.. it cuts the engine out when the tires start spinning..

really so it isnt a button to break the traction and regain the traction?
my buddies car (accord) can accelerate thru gears and the traction light comes on-and-off.... but if the button is physically pushed, then accelerate thru the gears it jus burns out and churps 3rd

why doesnt my car have this option(maybe bcuz mine was base model)

maybe.. but the traction control like bogs the motor out when the tires start spinning.. it really doesnt help if you ask me.. i hate it i wish my traction control was always off and i had to turn it on its always on until i turn it off its stupid..

I don't really like that the TC is always on either. For those of you that don't know, if you have TC in your vehicle it is always on once you start the ignition, regardless of whether you turned it off the last time you were driving.

Yeah it sucks, last winter it came on and I got stuck going up a hill that I could have went up without it on. It's for those that don't know how to drive in inclement weather.
