I really want to do it but I am weary just like HID.

Changing that over can be a lot of work, just pull the trigger on something. H.I.d.s and a bumper cover you can't go wrong with either

How much work does it involve?

It just depends. If you order the bumper from ford it most likely won't be assembled or come with all the pieces such as the grille and fog lights. Then painting and swapping the old. Unless you get lucky and buy a used one in your color then it is just on and off. But when all is said and done that bumper is sweet

Some one is selling a sangria red coupe bumper on here but he said he was in an accident but the bumper wasnt damaged he just got a new one from insurance. He saidthe only thing wrong with it was it was for one used and two he said he sanded it down I dont remember why though. So I basically would need the bottom black grille part, the bumper cover and thats it??

It sounds like you will need to paint it but as long as the bumper is fully assembled you should be fine. your bolts and clips should transfer from the old bumper to the new one with no problem

If you order it from ford it will come just like mine. It will have to be sanded, sealed with sealer primer, sanded, then painted. It wont come with the grill or fog lights. Assembly isnt hard. remove the headlights. There are some plastic push pins along the top, three in the wheel well, a screw in each wheel well, and a few across ther bottom and it comes right off

Basically I owuld need to buy the grill, have it painted, buy the grille, attemp the install and maybe see if my current fog lights transfer. By only problem I see is the install intself and if the fog lights dont transfer.

Also, how does this effect warranty status and everything revolving that?
