Personally I love the plastic. Eventually (loooooong way down the road), I plan on fabricating my own fender flares with that textured plastic so my fenders will look like:

I don't want them to actually flare off the fender really far...just a little bit to make my car look that much more mean.

Thanks for the idea Jeremy. I like that look a whole lot better than the vinyl. That's another thing to add on to my "to-do list" as well

Just a heads up on the pillar covers. I had to re-stick them down tonight. Maybe I drove to early after applying them. You might want to put them on and let your car sit awhile.(24hours?) I also taped down the ends that came up:

The ones in your link are listed for 07 and older Focus models.

Are these the ones you got on yours ?

EDIT: Just found these for the 08-10 Focus : http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/08-10...item20b9d48118

they should not have came off. i havent had any problems with mine and i drive right after an i even go through the big drive through car was that uses the big things that slap your car and everything. are you sure you cleaned the surface with alcohol? did you allow that to dry for 10 mins? something had to be missed with the install

No, I used alcohol to clean the surface and did not drive for a few hours. I was going 85-90mph down the highway though. When I got to work I noticed some of the edges coming off. Maybe the adhesive was bad/old? It is always tricky gluing something to a curved surface.

Might have to get these for the coupe, feel kinda ripped paying the same price as the sedans though... there is only 2 pieces to put on, one on each door.
