I was under the impression that the SVT ecu had a provision for the gauges, but not Zetec. The SVT ecu uses an algorithm based on engine RPM, coolant temp, etc, to operate the gauges, hence the fake reading. I don't think the regular Zetec has a function that is waiting to be connected to calculate those things, but I could be wrong.

I mean I could see if you confused a Zetec with a Duratec...but thinking a transverse 4 cyl is a longitudinal V8...a whole new level, haha.
