That shouldn't hurt gas mileage at all it should help. At 65 I only sit at about 2.7k rpm. I plan on getting a LSD sometime after the turbo but I gotta get my tranny fixed first. Thirds synco is going out and so is my throwout bearing. It isn't bad yet but I'd like to fix that first so I don't blow a hole in the trans. Is a LSD really needed for my power goals? I can deal with torque steer.

I run one (hx35) on my 5.0 xploder (remote mount)... I don't think I'd run one on my SVTf.

and look how horrendous the spool is... 6k rpm

only 445whp and 377ftlbs (512n-m), still 6k rpm is way late. I think I'll leave them to the diesel trucks.

the powerband looks steady. you also have to take in consideration...that huge freaking turbo. its not a hx35. that must be a hx40 or bigger. if we spinned rpm like a honda....that would be ok. i've seen a hx35 on a ford 2.3 l sohn 8 valve engine.......full boost at 4700rpm. hmmmmmmmmmmm

no that is just a hx40

if you want spool time dont get one. they are to big for a focus. if you want a power band like his and your broke as hell, why not, lol... i would rock it. but im just weird lol

he is running the HX40 (to damn big for even a 2.3L engine), the HX35 is a little smaller, but if your going to run that turbo with a zetec your better off buying the HY35 which has the same size cold side but a smaller hot side.
