Drag Weeks 2010 videos

Hey guys, Ive been doing Hot Rods Drag Week this past week. Today is our last stop at National Trails in Ohio. Just leting yall know that if you want to see some of these casr run. You can go to Youtube and type in Drag Week 2010 to see some videos. There are four 7 secc. cars here. For some of you who dont know about Drag Week. You have to Drive your vehicle. No trailers allowed, except you can towe one with your car that your racing. No support vehicles allowed either. So some of thes guy are running 7s at over 200mph in the quarter mile. Then driving them to the next trrack.Its 5 days, 5 tracks, 5 states. We also hit some rain this week. There is a video on there from one of the guys running a 7.01, then leaving the track and driving in the rain to head to the next track.

sounds to me like that guy definitely ate his wheaties that morning. i would love to follow an event like that but i would not drive a 7 second car on the street in the rain EVER. it would be scary enough in the dry... geeze

Yea there nuts. Today Larry Larsen ran a 6.95 at 209 mph. He is the chevy 2 you see in the video driving in the rain. Thats done on a DOT tire i do belive.

ive watched all the vids. they really cracked me up good. the guy with grandmas car and mismatched aluminum and cast iron heads really got me rolling.

"the car was pulling to the left really bad. apparently the engine was making more power on that side so we put the cast iron head on that side to dumb it down some. now she flies strait!"
