SPI Timing Belt Marks Help..

working on a 2000 ford forcus SE 2.0L Sohc. what timing mark do you go by. the one on the pully or the one on the crank timing gear. if anyone could supply pictures if possble that would be awesome. appreciate the hlelp guys. thanks.

I'm going to change your thread title to say SOHC so SPI owners who've done timing belts might look further. I don't know because I don't have a manual for that engine. Really, I'd think you'd have a manual before you try this, but then I've done timing belts on the fly, and just dropped in to read a manual at a parts store. I think that's why my local AZ doesn't keep manuals on the floor any more-LOL.

whynotthinkwhynot thanks. I am working on this focus with chopkilla and we do have a manual but it shows a totally different crank pully it shows one that can be pinned and this one can't there is no where to pin it. It is the proper engine though. 2000 2L split port SOHC. thanks for any help
