Yeah, with the displacement of the focus engine, you just don't get the benefits you would see bolting a supercharger onto, maybe a LSX or something.

Racing is about power under the curve, not just some peak number. With a small, proper turbo setup, you can get more power before you would with the supercharger.

Actually, someone take an SVT and do a twincharged setup, that would be sick. Possibly undrivable, but sick.

You are absolutely correct. Thats why I run the car in SMF. I'll take all the help I can get (index is 0.007 softer than SM)

turbo... with a proper turbo size, lag is really not there at all. mine is quite a bit too small, torque almost right off idle and full boost by 2800 rpm with an almost useless 1st. gear...lol
you just don't want to get too big a turbo either, you would be best off to talk to tom or one of the turbo manufactures to put your power curve right where you want it
as soon as this season is over i'm going to get a larger turbo for sure.!

I am running my SVT in the ST class with Tom's Tune, High Flow Cat, and a Volant Intake right now. I also have Team Dynamics wheels with Dunlop Star Specs.

I just ordered Koni Sport Struts/Shocks, H&R Race Springs, and an adjustable rear sway.

Decided to go suspension for now, and I am extremely excited.

Any other suspension components (big or small) I should consider? I am ordering some endlinks.

Same setup on my car, but with all poly bushings and LCR race camber plates. Good camber plates are a big plus.
