Don't go with guesses. Use a torque wrench.
well, YOU might be a noob mechanic but as an MM in the US Navy, have this done this many many times, and as far as trying to hustle someone for a piece of rubber; we in the Navy, have Honor, courage and commitment, something you wouldn't $h!t about working at your local mall or walmart. try doing something meaningful with your life and then come talk to me about honor...trying to tell me I was trying to hustle this Ahole?? what's wrong with you? As long as people know what to expect from Massive and specially KARL's past customer care experiences like mine, my work here is done. If you have to buy from someone more then once for for them to like and therefore go the extra mile for me...NO; every customer should be just as important to the last. But that's the difference between small companies like this one who care what one customer's experience is just because I have only bought from them once.
I am not the only one that has had this experience with them and that's what I wanted to prove, and I did.

Rich

Eh?! MassiveSpeed has got to be one of the best places to do business with. I ordered the Saleen kit from them and noticed that there were some minor pieces missing because UPS decided to completely destroy the box. The person at MassiveSpeed never once said, "Oh well...It's not out fault, but the shipping company." They said, "Don't worry about it. We'll take care of it." Three days later, my sway bar bushings came in.

MASSIVESPEED FTW!!!!!

You didnt prove shit man.

You think you have honor and courage, then why the hell would you post a thread like this? This is something that should have been taken care of through a PM, and not public.

All you proved is that you are a whiny little kid, who wants shit for free when you go and break something.

Trust me man, if Karl could have sent you that piece, he would have, but you have to ask youself, what the HELL would he do with the other parts? Its hard to sell them when their not all in a kit, so why would he loose money because a customer broke a part, and then expected him to bend over backwards to fix your mistake?

From a business standpoint, if he did that with ALL of his customers, he would be out of business.

YOU up. YOU broke the part. YOU are responsible for the part once it arrives at your door. YOU should have been more careful.

KARL did not over tighten the bolt, KARL is not responsible for your mistake. If it was HIS fault, he WOULD have replaced the part in most cases.

Its people like you that expect the world for free that really piss me off.

And whoop-dee-doo, you are in the navy. No one asked you to join up. Stop bragging about it. There are PLENTY of other people out there that have a more important job than you. No need to brag about being in the navy while you are trying to get free parts

Well, Rich, this just proves you can't get your facts straight. I don't know what a Navy MM is, I assume it's "Master Mechanic", but before you call someone out on Honor, Integrity or career you might wanna do your homework first. I do, in fact, know about Honor as I've been serving as a Cavalry Scout in the United States Army for the past 12 years and have been on four deployments, two of which in Iraq, which is where I'm currently at. And, yes, I'm a noob mechanic, but even I know when to use a torque wrench. End of rant.

Sorry, Mods I know this was off topic, but needed to be said.
