SVT Seats in a Sedan?

Possible? i would assume the front seats will fit right on. I would just have the seat tilting forward thing that I don't need in a sedan. What about the rear seats? do they fit right in place like the normal sedan ones do? I'm guessing I would have to get rid of the stock locking mechanisms on the rear seats.

Everything should fit just fine, even the door panels from a ZX5 SVT, FYI

the rears wont swap over as easily as the front. I dont know the details, but i know its something to do with how the rear seats lock into the back so they dont fly forward when you brake

Why wouldnt ZX5 SVT seats not work in a sedan. Should be interchangeable. I have ZX3 SVT seats in my ZX5.

because the sedan has the metal thing that seals off the trunk that extends far enough down to have a locking mechanism on the back top of the seat. its kinda like a door lock on the seats.

Yeah, when I looked into this last year, I was told by smarter folks than me that the rears won't lock correctly, and will flop forward. But you could replace the locking mechanism as well, and maybe that would take care of it.

The seats will fit in, but the seats use different attachment points between the ZX3/ZX5 and sedan.

I'm not 100% on this, but I believe that the you can bolt the seat latches from the hatchback to the sedan, but you may have to drill mounting holes for them.

svt seats off from any model can work. as far as it latching onto the back, not sure.

How about the wiring for the air bag sensors, etc. I have read that the SVT air bag in the steering wheel is not compatible with later (05 onward) models.
