Oil filter for PZEV
Hi guys,
I went down to Autozone to buy myself an oil filter for my new PZEV's first oil change, and they don't stock a Motorcraft filter. They carried a FRAM, but there is no way I'm going to use one of those.

I understand WIX makes a good one, and I can get those at NAPA for $8-12 depending on if it's "silver" or "gold" version.

Other than the dealership, who I'm sure are way overpriced, where can I get a motorcraft FL910?

i got my motorcraft from the dealer for 4 bucks, i didn't think that was expensive?

Wow, I'm suprised. I'll have to call my dealer to find out how much they want. I'm used to high prices at the dealership for everything. That's a good price, however.

I didn't even bother calling my dealership since the last part I got a quote from them on was a fuel filter for my Escape. They wanted $20 for it. I got it online for $10.50, $3.00 shipping.

Would be good if I could order one online, though. I would order a bunch.

$7.04 is suggested list price on an FL910 oil filter. I bought a case when I couldn't find them after market in stock, and they all wanted like 8-12bux.

Im using a K & N hp-1002 filter for mine. Working great. It even has a socketed end so that a 1" socket wrench can fit over it to get it of easier. Cost me 9.50 at kragen, so its not the best deal, but K&N is supposed to be good so...
