see i have heard that with the right kit you actually make power. my boss is an evo guy and he says that there are evos doing this mod(dont know what kit) and picking up 30 HP.

i know SVTs are very picky so im assuming that you would need a new tune. and i am leaning towards getting Toms tune soon. so i just wanted to basically know if tom has dealt with this or done any research on it.

I have done a LOT with e85 and I will not do a tune for it because the octane is NOT regulated by big brother and until it is the fuel is to unpredictable to use form tank to tank and has cost MANY engines

Tom

A good friend of mine tunes Evos on a regular basis. When they're actually tuned for it, 20 or 30 hp is normal, but that's not a plug in device. Tom had it right. There's a lot that needs to be adjusted. It also makes a lot more difference on boosted cars. I don't see it being worth the hassle and risk for just a slight gain.

Also, if you ever want to make an Evo driver jealous, show them how well your brakes work compared to their fancy brembos. That's another thread, but it's still something to be proud of.
