Able to flash a 06 with 09 or 2010 ECU program?
I am just wondering if we can flash the 06 Focus with a 09 or even 2010 Focus program. Since both engines are identical and component wise are pretty much the same. Wanting to do so because the 09 and 2010 Focus are so much better in fuel than my current 06.

Actually there is a LOT of Diff between the 06 and 09-10
To answer your question , no you cannot Tom

Anybody have a clue about the release date of the latest Ford ECU program for an '06 Automatic?
Mine hasn't been touched since 5-08.......is there a newer one out there?

^^^Possible MPG improvement that the '07s were supposed to have. Last I was at the dealer was about 6-08.....at that time they said I had the latest program.
Two years later...you'd think a newer ECU program was out there. The dealer wants $100 to do a check, even if there is nothing newer.
