I'm a NOOB at tuning, can someone help?!

So here's the deal... I just bought a 2010 focus coupe mtx (Duratec 2.0) a few months ago and plan to do a few mods in the future. In terms of performance mods, I plan on getting an fswerks cai, fswerks race exhaust, and a tune. I never really knew too much about tuning in the past, but after reading a bunch of different forums here, I now know I gotta get the tune to get the most out of those mods. So my question is, how exactly do I "get a tune?" I'm assuming that I buy the fswerks tuned sct x3 from the fswerks website. But does that mean that it comes with a tune program pre-installed by fswerks, and if so is it a tune that I should use? And if not, how and where do I go to get a tune? I'm also assuming after I get the tune I just plug it in and let it do its thing (after the cai and exhaust are installed). Of course I could be completely wrong about all of that, so if so someone let me know what I gotta do. As the title of the post says, I'm an absolute noob with tuning and this is my first new car so I don't wanna screw anything up, so PLEEEEASE go easy on me. Thanks for your help!!!

The flasher comes with a tune pre-installed. When you purchase it, at the checkout screen, you enter which modifications you have, and they will adjust the tune accordingly.

Welcome buddy, I think you would love the Fswerks setup, Randy and the gang out there are top notch.

You should check out FocalJet.com as well as Fswerks is a sponsor on there.

They have a Form you can post into if you have any other questions.

Thanks for the quick replies everybody, glad to be a part of FF! I think I'm just gonna stick with those basic performance mods for now, and maybe try to save up for the turbo after the car is paid off but I'll worry about that much later down the road. But now at least I know how to actually tune my fofo, I'll look into all the different tunes available.

Ok so another couple of dumb questions then. If I get Tom's tune, how do I go about getting ahold of him (I'm assuming thru this forum or e-mail or something), and what is the process of actually downloading the tune onto the flasher? Also, is the price for the flasher on fswerks.com including the fswerks tune or not? Because if it is, and I decide to get Tom's tune, could I go about getting one without the FSWerks tune and saving some money on a tune program that I would never use? Thanks again for the help everyone!
